We want to remind you that we begin class instruction at 8:00 AM each day. Students may come into the classrooms beginning at 7:30 AM. We recommend arriving early enough for your child to unpack their backpacks and complete their morning work and activities. Having time in their classroom before school begins allows your child to be ready to start their day off prepared to be successful.



What Are We Learning?


Reading: Identify the elements of different kinds of poetry
Language Arts: Identify when to use more and most using comparative adjectives
Math: Identify if a given number is divisible or what two of its factors are
Science: Discover characteristics of each of the four main layers of the atmosphere
Spelling: Accurately spell and write words with prefixes.
Bible: Understand the meaning of Good Friday

Correctly using comparative and superlative adjectives
Math:
Divide when the answer has a zero and check their quotients with Multiplication.
Science:
Name and summarize the stages of the water cycle.
Spelling:
Accurately spell and write words with prefixes.
Bible:
The HOLY SPIRIT is a person and is GOD.When you trust Christ as your Lord and Savior, the HOLY SPIRIT comes to live within you

What Are We Learning?

Reading: Locate text evidence within an article
Language Arts: Identify demonstrative adjectives and how to use them
Math: Divide into two and three digit numbers to produce a two digit quotient
History: Identify the elements of a personal budget (income, expenditures, and saving) and explain why personal spending, tithing, and saving decisions are important.
Spelling: Accurately spell and write words with hard and soft c and g.
Bible:The HOLY SPIRIT is a person and is GOD.When you trust Christ as your Lord and Savior, the HOLY SPIRIT comes to live within you.

What Are We Learning?

Reading: Making inferences and drawing conclusions using details from the text and background knowledge.
Language Arts: Identify adjectives and the nouns they describe
Math: Review line symmetry and explore properties of symmetric shapes as well as demonstrate mastery over Unit 5 concepts
History: Describe tactics that led to the end of the Civil War, including Sherman’s “March to the Sea”. Discuss the events of President Lincoln’s assassination.
Spelling: Accurately spell and write r-controlled vowels
Bible: The crucifixion of Christ would have no meaning apart from His resurrection.
